I don't think Bohemian Rhapsody was meant to have a meaning in the traditional "This is a song about ..." sense. I think it was mostly just Queen showing off that they could do (or at least ape) multiple genres of music. The lyrics are just there to portray each genre as it comes up. (The most transparent case is the opera section; the lyricist had apparently never seen an actual opera, so he picked out the most cartoonishly oversimplistic stereotypes of opera imaginable and just went with them. And it didn't matter because nobody really likes opera that much anyway.)

For me it's their harmonies. Oh, and VoicePlay never take their videos down, not does Geoff on his solo covers. Just so you know. All three main acapella groups have great singers. VoicePlay also do a lot of fun stuff with theatrical content, having worked with Disney or in musical productions in the past. It's hard to pick favourites. The little guy is Eli, (pronounced ellie) Jacobson, and he has fronted rock bands in the past. Master of runs and riffs. The others are Lto R, are Layne Stein, J.None, Earl Elkins Jnr, Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci. They are professional and work very hard to make these videos sound as good as they do.

The growling done is actually a skill that if not done correctly can damage your voice Leo limits the growling in his metal which to me actually makes it more pronounced.

This woman revolution in music is becoming real. As a metal fan I personally prefer Ai Mori, she's Russian singer, check some covers from her Bring me the horizon, the architects, linking park, she did it all.
